Dr. Jörg Mimberg

Jörg Mimberg advises clients operating nationally and internationally on all matters of financial regulatory law, capital markets law and corporate law.

In the regulatory law of banks and payment service providers, his practice focuses on advising on the licensing requirements of business models and on the regulatory obligations applicable to licensed entities and their managing directors, including in particular matters relating to organisational requirements and anti-money laundering compliance. He also assists start-ups and FinTech companies in licensing proceedings before BaFin.

In corporate and capital markets law, Jörg Mimberg advises capital markets–oriented companies on all corporate law matters. In addition, he represents clients in complex court proceedings, in particular in management liability matters and actions challenging shareholders’ resolutions.
