Jonas Schürger focuses on banking and financial regulatory law and has particular expertise in advising regulated institutions. He represents credit institutions, financial services and investment firms, payment service providers and rating agencies on contractual and regulatory matters – ranging from licensing and authorisation procedures, cross-border regulatory issues, capital requirements and ownership control procedures.
A further area of focus is capital markets law. In this context, Jonas Schürger advises clients in particular on matters relating to market abuse, insider trading and prospectus law, as well as on public takeover offers under the German Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act (WpÜG).
